Overview of Collinsville Youth Basketball
Collinsville Youth Basketball is a member of Indian Nations Basketball Conference (INBC) which has two programs, Recreational and Select. Collinsville Youth Basketball operates within the boundaries of the Collinsville School District. While Collinsville Youth Basketball has a strong relationship with the Collinsville School District, we are a stand-alone, non-profit organization.
INBC offers recreational-based programs designed to introduce the game of basketball to beginners in Kindergarten through kids looking to participate through 6th grade. The programs focus on teaching and developing basic fundamental skills, having fun and learning the values of being part of a team and displaying good sportsmanship. Please visit the INBC website to learn more about their programs.
INBC also offers a competitive/select program that offers kids a higher level of competition while developing fundamental basketball skills. Player development is stressed and disciplined, team-oriented play is emphasized. More practice times are available to provide additional time for player and team development with the goal and vision of having players ready to play at the Jr. and Sr. High school levels.
